Newspapers in the Library

Merton libraries are no longer getting hard copies of newspapers.   Instead each branch will have some 'tablets' (six in West Barnes) on which members can read any of a larger number of newspapers and magazines.  Details of the tablets and how they can be used are on the eBooks, eMagazines, eAudiobooks and eNewspapers page of Merton Libraries' website; library staff can also help.  Members will need their library card number and associated PIN to use these new tablets.

Other events and activities

Do you have an idea for a social event, competition, activity or talk and want support to get the ball rolling?  Please contact the Friends Committee to pitch your idea and we will work with you to help get your idea off the ground.  The Committee is keen to expand its small team of Events Co-ordinators - if you have the time and enthusiasm to pull together events, please contact the Committee at: mail@friendsowbl.org.uk

Volunteering and getting help

How do I get help?  If a person requires help, you can ask them to e-mail help@mvsc.co.uk or call 020 8685 2272 between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.  How do I volunteer?  If you are able to volunteer, or know anyone that wants to volunteer, please complete this form or contact the volunteer taskforce at volunteer@mvsc.co.uk.
